Spring has come!

I love spring time.  I think it is maybe my favorite time of year; a re-awakening of sorts.  I love when the days start to warm up just a little bit at a time.  I love the birds.  I love the return of green.  And I love rain, too.  But another sure sign of spring that makes me so happy is when the SweetTarts Chicks, Ducks & Bunnies candy come back.  I walked into Wal-Mart the other day, and there they were!  Hooray!

I have to say, Christian Siriano's win on Project Runway last night was spectacular. ��Not only would I wear his clothing, but I think I'll buy the action figure Ferocia Coutura if it ever becomes available. ��

Why must it take 60 minutes to get to work, instead of the intended 20 minute commute?  Please hurry!

Let it snow/sew

This whole blog thing has not come easily to me. ��As soon as I log in, I face the dilemma of not only what I will write about, but why is it important, and does anyone else care. ��However, this blog dilemma has helped me to not just notice, but appreciate the little things that happen every day. ��And today I've got two great things to say. ��First, after much research and deliberation, I purchased my sewing machine; it's fantastic! ��And two, it snowed like crazy today.

The first sewing machine experience was certainly one to remember. ��Of course it's normal to sew on Boy Scout patches late at night, after being at JoAnn's way too long figuring out which bobbin to buy, right? ��After the bobbin problem was solved, even Dave tried it out. ��Hah! ��Who would've thought?

And lest I forget, the lovely snow. ��I love snow days! ��And today it actually snowed. ��I mean, really snowed. �� �� ��

And despite her distaste for anything cold, I even think Lucy liked it.

There is Hope

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been patiently waiting for the next installment of The Hills. ��Yes, it's a guilty pleasure of mine. ��I love this show! ��Well, wait no longer. ��The Hills ��in all its glory is back March 24. ��Woo hoo!!! ��So, what can we look forward to on Season 4, you ask? �� ��

According to Dane, the celebrity gossip King, second only to in-law Laura, you can anticipate the following drama:

Audrina's relationship with her Orange County childhood friend and (of course) reuniting with Justin-Bobby.

Lauren leaving her position at Teen Vogue.

Lauren and Audrina moving into their new mini-mansion with new roommate Lo.

Heidi and Spencer mending their relationship while still keeping the engagement off.

Stephanie Pratt making amends with Lauren much to the dislike of Spencer.

Heidi coming into the picture again as she befriends Audrina. ��

Hesitant

I've never been too sure about the whole blog thing.  Why would someone want to read about my life or the lack thereof?  Although this step in life may be insignificant to some, I swore I'd never start a blog until I actually had something to write about.  But I'm doing it anyway.   

Life changes seem to be happening a lot, and I must say, these changes are not always welcome. So instead of stewing about them, I'm sharing.

So anyway, from here on out, I’ll keep this rolling documentary simple, uniform, clean.  Enjoy!
